Rapidshare London Calling Salon

Rapidshare London Calling Salon Average ratng: 3,4/5 812 reviews

This salon is BY FAR the BEST salon I ever visited. My haircut is perfect and this is the first salon to ever get my color right. The color is staying bright for a month+ and has barely faded and I get pink!!! The previous post from the lady with the gift certificate does not know what a great salon she went to or must be used to some pompous salons.

They are not pompous or rude but the entire staff there are all very nice and professional. Visit them with confidence - especially for a cut & color.

Worst Haircut of my life here. – I received gift certificates to the salon, because a few of the stylists donated free haircuts to support a cancer fundraiser.I used the first gift certificate with one of the stylists and had to return a week later to have it re-cut.

It was awful. I have really good hair that is easy to work with and wanted a carefree style I could do different things with. She gave me a forward shag, which I basically had to style to make it do anything.

I had to have it cut shorter to fix it. Cailin fixed it and did a great job.I came back in about six weeks for a trim with another gal that had donated a haircut. This was worse than the first haircut. Basically the worst haircut I have ever received in my 42 years.

It took at least six-months to grow that out.She was taught by the owner supposedly. He taught her a technique that she could not manage.I still had one more gift certificate which I let expire.

I would never walk in those doors again! If you get a good haircut there it's a crap-shoot!!!! From the warm greeting I received when I walked through the door, the educated consultation, the refreshing shampoo, precision cut, detailed styling, and the little pink post card I got in the mail, my experience at London Calling was a delight.

I was concerned however when I read the comments/review below. I saw Niki at London Calling, she was kindhearted, and thorough. I love my hair. The complete experience totally exceeded my expectations. Kudos to Niki for her witty knowledgeable methods. I will continue to refer my friends and family members to her. RUDE STYLIST – I was there recently and saw Niki.

The haircut turned out okay, but there's a way to say certain things without being rude, and Niki definitely doesn't know how to do that. Telling customers like me over and over how thin my hair is, and just an overall unfriendly attitude just isn't right.

If there's something inherently negative about someone's hair that you need to mention, you can always put a positive spin on it, this is essential for ANYONE in the service industry. No one should ever be degrading customers, people go to a salon to feel better about themselves, not to be put down. BEST EXPERIENCE - SO FAR IN MY SALON EXPERIENCES – So now I know better. I went to london calling Salon for a couple years now and have been super happy every time. Always on time and a great haircut that I am happy with - really happy!!!!!! I saw Jessica for the last year or so and before that it was Debbie. I changed to Jessica cause sdhe works Sundays and that makes it easier for me.

What else do I do on sundays/ For kicks I looked up london Calling salon here on city search and saw a post about jenny salon and went there last week to check them out because of trhe post someone made here about london calling. So, I went to jennys salon made a big mistake.

I posted my experience with Jennys on their city search comment page. It was not very good. Anyway, I went today to London Calling to have a fix done on one side above my ear where Jennys left it too long. They would not fix it unless as who ever answerred their phone told me I would havce to pay again to get it fixed.

Jessica fixed the side and did not charge me for fixing what they did. True story.I am sticking with London Calling - thank you Jessica. Ehh – I went to London Calling because I couldn't get an appointment at my regular salon (Jenny's). The salon is in a good location and it's super cute inside and the receptionists were friendly. However, I just wanted a shampoo and my hair blow-dried straight, nothing fancy. I made this clear to the stylist and she ended up using a curling iron and charging me $40. My hair looked pretty but it wasn't what I asked for and I spent quite a bit more than I thought I would be spending.

Now I make sure I call a head of time to get an appointment-at Jenny's Salon in Madison Heights! BEST HAIRCOLORISTS.

Awesome hours, always changing the art on the walls, BEST HAIRCUT I EVER HAD! – I went to the salon by a friend recommendation and was taken a-back by how very friendly and helpful every single person who works there was. No, one was a 'B.' Like I?ve seen at other salons I have been to.

Not one attitude. So that made me comfortable.Everyone was busy? And the salon was spotless. They have a whole house vacuum that lets them sweep the hair after every cut into a little hole? VERY COOL.MY GENERAL EXPERIENCE WAS IT WAS THE BEST SALON EXPERIENCE I EVER HAD.

The hairstylist was professional, made the 2 and half hours I was there for haircut and highlights fun. She explained everything before hand and I was the most satisfied I have ever been.

I whole heartedly recommend London Calling.I also read a previous review about the owner or manager. I met him and he was very professional and spent a little time with me talking about my hair and the art in his salon. I liked the idea that he made it an art gallery. Very nice man. He apparently has been a hairdresser for 30 years and they have done rock stars in the salon. Kid Rock, Joe Walsh. B-52?s and more but I can?t remember. To sum it up.GREAT SALON, GREAT SERVICE, MY HAIR IS PERFECT?

I AM HAPPY.OH - The price was right on. It was a little less expensive than where I have gone before. This lady that gave a review saying 'rip-off' must have her haircut in a basement by somebodys mother.

The prices are excellent! I tipped big to make up the difference from the last place. WORST STYLIST & MANAGEMENT- A PRICEY RIP OFF – $$$$$$$180.00 for highlights and a cut.

The stylist do what they want-not what you want. I asked for blonde and burgandy - I rec'd brassy and brown. The hair cut was 7 inches shorter than what I asked! I specified that I did not want SHORT HAIR- My Husband HATES SHORT HAIR and that is exactly what I got! I even showed the stylist the area where I did not want my hair to be cut above several times and she went 7 inches above that! I initially contacted the salon with my complaint.

The manager sent me an e-mail back stating I could come in to have my stylist fix it. Why would I want to go back to the stylist who cut my hair off without my permission, so she could cut more or make the color look worse? He never offered any form of reimbursement which what would normally be done in any business situation.

Education

I was out almost $200 and had no hair! Being a new mom, wanting to update my look, backfired. It is almost 9 months later and my hair length is still not where it was when I went in there. I have been looking for a new salon but am afraid to even go at this point. I still miss my long hair!!!!!!!!!!

I am normally not one to even complain but feel I was ripped off. I am now beginning my crusade to let everyone know before this happens to them.
