I was in an accident that totaled my old Kia back in August of 2015. I had purchased my vehicle from Kia of Lansing before and it was a great experience. Since I was on the market for a new car after the accident, I went right back to Kia of Lansing.

I worked with a salesman named Ryan Swenson. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the cars that I was interested in. I was looking for a specific color (like my old Kia Optima) but there was not anything available used. Ryan looked around but there wasn't anything similar at any of the other local dealerships. He finally found a very nice 2013 Optima SXL which I liked a lot once I saw it and test drove it.

A couple of weeks later I realized that I never got a spare key. Before I could call Ryan, he called me and said that he had one for me. I got really busy and forgot about it for over a year.

Then I went in for a faulty sensor on my transmission (which was covered under the fantastic 10 year 100,000 mile warranty) and it hit me. I never picked the key up! I went to the sales floor and caught Ryan at his desk. I figured he wouldn't remember me but he immediately remembered that he sold me the SXL and joked that I never came to pick up the key.

All in all I have had nothing but good things to say about Kia of Lansing and Ryan. This car was exactly what I was looking for in a car. I never buy new cars would rather purchase a one owner used car with all the extras for the same price.

I am a person of size and I sit very comfortably in my terrain. I have only had it for a couple of months but drive it daily and enjoy my ride. So far I only have one complaint and that this car is fully loaded but doesn't have the memory adjustment for my seats.really miss this feature. I never thought I would purchase anything but a Buick, but this car has changed my mind. They came and picked up my car same day i called.

I was really nervous about getting my car fixed everyone says 'your car never feels the same after it gets work done' but i feel like that doesnt apply to my situation. Noisia collider. My car needed a lot of work done to it and when i got it back it felt like it had never gotten damaged. It drives really nice and it looks amazing! I received a call with updates and they answered any questions i had.

There were no suprises i knew exactly what going on and if anything had changed. They took their time and they sure know what they're doing. The service department at Graff keeps my old car going. I'm always treated well, and my car is usually ready when they tell me it will be. (Sometimes, the jalopy needs more work than initially anticipated.) This repair was such that I had to leave my car there for a few days; I very much appreciated being able to use a loaner vehicle. I also appreciate that the necessary work is explained to me (with my non-mechanically inclined mind) in a way that I can understand, but not in such a way that it's condescending or 'dumbed down.'

I've had midsize SUV's before and I like the larger door size, cargo space, and so forth. So the Terrain seemed to be a logical model to test, and I was impressed with the test drive and bought it. After a year I've been pretty happy with it but a couple of things stand out. The back seat does not fold flat to increase cargo space and this seems to be kind of ridiculous and to spoil the whole idea. And recently I had to have the fuel pump replaced under warranty, because of using E85 fuel, which the service manager told me is not good for the fuel systems despite this being a flex-fuel vehicle. The other thing is that while I was happy with the 4-cylinder engine at first, I now wish I'd opted for the V6 as the car is kind of out of its element in highway driving.

Don't get me wrong, it will get you there, but my foot is on the floor a lot more often than I'd prefer. If I trade this one off in the next few years I'll definitely opt for the V6. Overall I am very pleased with it.

Kyle and Trevor work hard to find us the exact car we were looking for. They worked well to find value in our trade in. They stayed late at night to close the deal. Even though we kept them here 2 hours past closing we NEVER felt rushed or pushed so they could get out the door, nor did they try to push the car at all!

The vehicle sold itself! Fantastic service and fantastic vehicle! Free Oil changes for the first year were quite a surprise! The lifetime engine warranty was very impressive! I was nervous going with a dealership I hadn't heard of or worked with before, but they did everything in their power to get the vehicle up here the same day we wanted to see it!

Their service was above and beyond all expectations! I found the car I wanted posted by Sundance Online and contacted the dealership immediately.

August was so helpful and told me the car I wanted was on hold but asked me to swing by and check it out anyway as well as other cars. After looking at many cars, I still had my heart set on the original Chevy Cruze that caught my interest online. I asked August to give me a call if it became available and the very next day he called and told me the other deal didn't go through and the car could be mine! I was thrilled! $7,900 for the Cruze and it only had 64,000 miles. August talked me through all the paperwork and made sure I understood everything since this was my first car purchase. My only negative comment about my experience was with the finance guy, Jay Meyer.

Jay seemed very irritated and pushy with me and was not kind when I refused the extended warranty. I financed through my bank already so I think maybe he was upset about that and felt he was wasting his time? I'm not sure but it was very uncomfortable. Still highly satisfied and thankful to have met August! Since the first time I stopped into this Carite in Grand Ledge, I was impressed. In my business, I train others in customer service, and I often use my experiences with Carite as examples of people who 'totally get it' when it comes to meeting the needs of a customer.

Rick Lamar, in service, is one of the most accommodating individuals I have ever met. There is absolutely NO gimmicks or 'talking over my head', which women sometimes get in repair shops. I have never dealt with the sales side, but the service department here is top notch. Not only is this my only stop for anything car related now, but I often refer this place to others, and they have had the exact same experience. They go above and beyond to make everyone happy, even when the news isn't great.

I can't imagine ever going anywhere else. This is the second Terrain that I've leased. My first was a 2012. I love the square body style that now has been phased out in the 2018/19 models.

For that reason, I am not pursuing a lease of another Terrain. The only reason I am not buying out my lease is that my vehicle is starting to rust! I have had this vehicle about 36 months and it is white. I can see small particles of rust showing through the back panels and the quarter panels where they meet. I live in the Midwest where it does snow, but it has not been terrible the past few years. It is also garage kept overnight to avoid street parking (for about 5 months out of the year when it is considered winter). That is the only cosmetic flaw that I have found. The reason I got my first Terrain in 2012 was the fact that the rear seat slid back and forth.

That was the selling point due to having a bulky, rear-facing car seat. Now I can push the seat forward if I need more cargo space. One side of the back seat does fold down as well as in the middle there is a folding arm rest. This year does not have a CD player but my 2012 had one and it made a whirring noise constantly, even when the car was off, so I was happy they discontinued it. Additionally, there is Bluetooth capability as well as the option to get Sirius for a small fee. I usually don't listen to music in the car so that did not make much of a deal to me. Good gas mileage.

Oil changes are more expensive do to the Dexos (sp) oil but not as frequent as other cars that I have owned. Although I did not purchase a vehicle from Signature Ford of Perry, I just wanted to write a review to show my experience with this dealer. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by sales rep Mike Shenk who immediately assisted me with the vehicle I was interested in. Mike discussed the vehicle with me and with some further conversation with his manager (?), I was able to test drive the vehicle to see if it was the right one for me. This is something that I was not able to do at another local Ford dealer so that is two thumbs up for Mike and this dealer.

They treated me with courtesy and did not pressure me, understanding that if the car was a right fit, a deal was to be made.
